No. Tickets can be purchased only with a credit card online - Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
Tickets are non-refundable. They can only be used for the date you selected, because of arrangements made with the local businesses. The tickets, however, are transferrable to someone else for that day, if you are unable to attend. Please notify us of this change.
Tour participants must be 21 years old because of the wineries and the distillery we will be visiting. Because of local health codes, pets are not allowed on the tour.
Many of the establishments we will be visiting are old, historic buildings with a step up into it. Unfortunately, they are not wheelchair accessible.
Be sure to wear comfortable clothing and shoes. The tour will be held rain or shine, so dress appropriately for the weather. We recommend that you bring an ID - state issued driver’s license or passport - to provide proof of age with the alcohol consumption in some places. Sometimes guests purchase items on the tour. Bringing a totes bag along may be a good idea.
The tour begins at the Schuylkill River Heritage Center parking lot, 2 Main St., Phoenixville PA, 19460. Unfortunately you may NOT park in that lot. We recommend street parking, or in the Municipal Lot #3, which is located right next to The Foundry/Schuylkill Heritage Center lot. The tour will end half a block from this location for easy access to return to your vehicle.
The tour is approximately 1 mile in length. It will progress at a leisurely pace, stopping at 8-9 businesses.
The foods offered will be a tasting size only. The 2 wineries, brewery, and distillery will serve a sampling of the unique drinks they offer.
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate any food allergies or dietary restrictions.
There are bathrooms available at the food and drink businesses.
We encourage you to purchase items from the participating merchants during our visit with them. You are also welcome to return to any businesses in town after the tour and enjoy what they have to offer! It might be a good idea to bring an extra bag along to carry any purchases you make.
We recommend this tour for EVERYONE! For people who live outside the town of Phoenixville, come to experience this up and coming neighborhood! For family and friends visiting the area, surprise them with an afternoon in town - eating, drinking, walking, and learning something new! For local residents, you are invited to dig a little deeper into the history and culture of this community and share your own story! In other words, there is a little something for everyone taking this tour!
